Freelance Video Editing and Marketing Consultant

FilmDoo

During my time with FilmDoo, I was responsible for compiling thematically linked short films into feature film length compilations which were released for rental on Amazon and FilmDoo.com. Alongside this, I constructed short narrative lead trailers for the to attract buyers to the compilations and designed posters for marketing purposes. The trailers and posters were released on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.

​The trailer for These Untold Secrets became a significant milestone in my career, gaining over 10K YouTube views only 72 hours after it was uploaded.

Content Creator

As a Content Creator for the University of Westminster, my responsibilities include planning and designing social media content suitable for an 18-25 student demographic, which is released across Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn, in line with monthly content plans. My role also involves writing, producing and directing short-form video content for Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.

The purpose of my role within the careers team is to promote student interaction with the careers service and I frequently collaborate with internal stakeholders on student engagement campaigns to support the service's long term strategy.

With CES I produced a series of eight, 60 second videos about CES’ ‘Engage’ service, a platform where students can discover careers advice, events and jobs. The videos were released on YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Below are three of the eight videos.

Employability Induction Videos

The ‘Employability Induction’ videos were produced for students at Levels 4, 5, 6 and Postgraduate Level. These videos are an introduction to the careers service for each level of study, highlighting services that would be of particular use to students at each level.

Five videos were produced in total, including a specialised video for creative-arts and media students. Below are three of the five videos.

IXN Work Based Learning Video

The ‘WBL Westminster IXN Project Video’ was produced for the School of Computer Science and Engineering. 

The Westminster IXN is a voluntary collaborative programme between the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Westminster and participating organisations. The programme is designed to support our work-based learning strategy. It uses a project-based educational methodology, adapted from the UCL IXN methodology, that enables students to work on real-world problems as assessed components of their degree programmes.

With CES I produce monthly content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Content includes still, graphics-based designs, photographs, text posts and video content.
